Saturday 10th June
9.30am – 10.30am
Seminar with Dr Sally Moorcroft on Gut Health, £10
With growing evidence that many chronic conditions including allergies, autoimmune disease, IBS, IBD, arthritis, migraines, depression, autism and behavioural problems are linked to gut health and flora , we will explore what can affect your gut health and what can be done to repair and rebalance it. With handouts and recipe ideas included.
11am – 12pm
Pilates with Genevieve Cummings, £10
A great start to the day – Genevieve will run this Pilates session which is suitable for all levels.
1pm – 3pm
Dr Hauskcha Make Up presentation and workshop with Gina Reader, £20
Join Gina for our make up presentation and workshops
Learn about the natural make ups available and tips and advice on techniques and colours. We are privileged to have Gina available to host this session, she has over 25 years in the industry and is a fountain of knowledge.
3.30pm – 4.30pm
Ashtanger Vinyasa Flow with Richard Tucker, £10
Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow Modified Primary Series. A full body and soul workout. Sri K. Pattabhi Jois’s traditional take on the ancient text Yoga Korunta, adapted by one of his original American students Larry Schultz and brought to the UK by Jamie Blowers. Passed down by way of a 200 hour teaching training course out of Breeze Yoga Studio in London, this system is for the discerning Western practitioner, wanting to deepen their personal practice. A perfect marriage of tempo and sequence, with plenty of ways to modify the classical poses, these advanced routines are appropriate for all levels of students. The vibrant sequencing helps bring together the Mind and Body by using Ujjayi breathing techniques, benefiting the student by improving muscle tone, balance, symmetry and aiding detoxification of the body.
Sunday 11th June
10am – 12pm
Yoga for Wellness including Restorative & Yoga Nidra with Carmen Bratton, £25
‘Yoga For Wellness’ in this workshop we will allow ourselves to let go of our over stimulated senses to help find balance both on and off the mat, we will explore the whole body, using breathing practices, meditation, mindful movement with breath and body awareness connection and finish the workshop with yoga nidra, a deep relaxation technique to leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed. No yoga experience necessary.
12pm – 1pm Meditation Session hosted by Hull Buddhist centre, £10
Meditation makes our mind peaceful, and when our mind is peaceful we are happy all the time, even if our external conditions are difficult.
2pm – 3.30pm Stress Management with Suzy Walgate, £20
This will be an experiential workshop with Suzy who will be sharing techniques to manage stress and promote relaxation in our busy daily lives.
