Dr. Sally Moorcroft

Dr. Sally Moorcroft

Partner and Clinical Lead
Dr Sally Moorcroft is a qualified doctor with 20 years of clinical experience, specialising in functional and integrative medicine. GMC registered and a partner and co-founder of Orchard Barn Integrative Health Centre, Dr Moorcroft has dedicated the last 14 years to her busy private practice combining nutrition, herbal medicine, homeopathy, medical acupuncture and bio-identical hormone therapy. With a BSc (Hons) in Herbal Medicine and 5 years post graduate training in medical homeopathy (MFHom) through the National Centre for Integrative Medicine, as well as training in Iscador (Mistletoe Cancer) therapy and Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy at the Marion Gluck Clinic, London, Dr Moorcroft is passionate about using a personalized, holistic and a root cause approach. In addition, Dr Moorcroft is a graduate of the AFMCP (Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice) training programme, a member of the Institute of Functional Medicine, a visiting lecturer to Hull and York Medical School and a tutor at the National Centre for Integrative Medicine in Bristol.  
Sandra Bojen-Taylor

Sandra Bojen-Taylor

With a Masters in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy Sandra is an accredited psychotherapist and BACP Registered Counsellor. Sandra is also a group therapist for Breast Cancer Care UK, a registered Trauma Aid UK volunteer and a fully qualified EMDR therapist – an innovative therapy which has successfully helped millions of people with a wide range of mental health problems and PTSD. In addition she has a wealth of experience in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Narrative, Transactional Analysis (TA), Gestalt and Mindfulness.
Alison Leighton

Alison Leighton

Nutritional Advisor and Colonic Hydrotherapist
Alison qualified as a Naturopathic Nutrition Advisor in 2015 and then continued her study with the well respected ION (Institute of Optimum Nutrition).  Alison has always had a keen interest in health and nutrition and loves to support people and show them how simple changes to diet can help to optimise nutrition for themselves and their family.

Lesley Markey

Nutritional Therapist
Lesley is a Registered Nutritional Therapist with a Post Graduate Diploma in Nutritional Science and Practice. She is currently involved in a research project to complete an MSc in Nutritional Science and Practice. She has a background in education, specialising in Early Years.

Lesley is fascinated by the whole subject of nutrition and how the food that we eat has a massive impact on not only our health but also our emotional wellbeing.

Lesley has many interests and hobbies.  Food is top of the list!! She loves cooking and baking she also loves exercise, although she only came to this in my 40's, completing her first Total Warrior.

Jules Weldon

Medical Herbalist
Jules qualified as a medical herbalist with a first class BSc honours degree from Lincoln University in 2011.  She is a professional member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists.  She is also a Trustee for the Sacred Space Foundation in Cumbria, which offers retreat space and spiritual direction to people with burn out. Her passion (apart from gardening, real food, foraging and fermenting) is to encourage and empower people on their own wellness journey, bringing common sense and broad life experience into her work as a botanical therapist.  

Melanie Bryan

We are delighted to welcome Melanie to our team of experts working in Dr. Sally's clinic. Melanie qualified from the Northern College of Acupuncture achieving a Bsc in Acupuncture. Melanie is able to treat a full range of conditions and has a particular interest in women’s health.
Emma Bailey

Holistic, Shamanic & Bowen Practitioner
Emma is a qualified beauty therapist who has gone on to study many healing holistic therapies including Shamanic Healing, Reiki and Bowen Therapy.  Emma has seen some fantastic results from her healing therapies and is an true expert in her field. Emma enjoys working with our natural make up range offering make up lessons and occasion make up.
Joanne Clark

Joanne joined the team in 2018, she qualified in Beauty Therapy and specialising in Holistic relaxing treatments.  She is very talented in her field and very effective at relaxing your body and then your mind can follow.

Sally Marshall

Beauty Therapist, Dr Hauschka Esthetician & Dispenser
Sally has joined the team as an esthetician performing Facials, Manicures and Pedicures, Waxing and Tinting. Sally qualified as a Dr Hauskha Esthetician in 2017 and delivers the full range of Dr Hauschka treatments. She has over 20 years experience of working in beauty, so you are in expert hands and each treatment has been carefully planned with Sally to ensure all products used throughout the treatment are as natural as possible. More recently Sally has taken on a role in the onsite dispensary as a trainee dispenser where she is obtaining a greater understanding of medicinal herbs. In Sally's spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and her animals including her horses.

Julie Reeve

Julie started her working life after qualifying, as a nursery nurse and state enrolled nurse. She spent many years working as an early years practitioner which she loved. She has always had an interest in holistic therapy so she changed direction and qualified as a complementary therapist practising Swedish massage, Indian head massage, reflexology and reiki. Julie's passion lies with reiki and she now has 20yrs experience in the field and dedicates her service to helping both human and four-legged clients. She is an animal lover and owner and likes to spend her spare time split between her other passions which are her dog and two horses. Her mum, three children and four grandchildren.

Molly is the leader of the Little Seeds Children's Club here at Orchard Barn, Molly runs the session alongside the team of Nutritional Therapists and Movement Specialists.  Molly has achieved her level 3 as an Early Years Practitioner and has a keen interest in nature and being in the great outdoors.
Becky Cartledge

Personal Trainer, Movement and Pilates
Becky  has been working in the sport, health and fitness industry for 20 years. After gaining a BA hons in Sport Studies she went on to become a Personal Trainer and was one of the first students to train with Michael King at the Pilates Institute in London. She is currently training with Burrell Education, a revolutionary women’s wellness, fitness and therapy education. Becky is now teaching movement rooted in body awareness and positivity.
Pascha Greene

NLP Practitioner & Yoga Teacher
Pascha has a background in professional dance, she is a Pilates teacher, Yoga teacher and an NLP practitioner and has recently qualified as a Level 5 Coach and Mentor.  Pascha has genuine passion for making people’s lives richer.

Rebecca Somerscales

Yoga Teacher & Phlebotomist
Rebecca has been practising yoga since 2000 in the Viniyoga tradition. She includes postures, breath awareness, sound/mantra, relaxation and meditation in her classes. Whilst strength, flexibility, improved posture and breathing all result from yoga practice there is also a deeper sense of well-being that yoga brings. Rebecca's many years of study, personal practice and therapeutic approach help guide students in a friendly and accessible way. She is skilled at adapting postures to the students' needs and working with people with illness or pain. The small classes at Orchard Barn are perfect for exploring the self in a beautiful environment. Rebecca is also a practising nurse and offers a phlebotomy to support our functional medicine service.
Kathy Holmes

Hatha Yoga
Kathy qualified in Hatha Yoga in 2015 but due to her commitments working within health she has had limited time to teach. In addition to her Hatha Training, she is also training in Post Natal and Pre Natal yoga. We are delighted to welcome her to the team. Her classes will focus on building strength in different areas of the body, with each week looking at a different area with a strong focus on the breath.
Helen Jacques

Pregnancy Yoga Teacher
Helen qualified as an Adult Nurse in 1999 and worked in gynaecology for 3 years before qualifying as a midwife in 2003. Helen realised how beneficial yoga would be during pregnancy having discovered yoga herself so trained with birthlight in 2017. Pregnancy Yoga is linked to positive outcomes in pregnancy and can benefit both mind and body as women adapt to pregnancy changes. It can benefit all pregnant woman and we are able to accept woman on the class from 15 weeks. Pregnancy Yoga takes place at Orchard Barn on a Wednesday evening at 5.30pm. Helen's spare time is spent with her children, husband and dog, she enjoys Yoga and reading along with meeting up with friends.

The Team

Helen Quirke

Partner and Business Manager
Helen oversees the running of the overall centre and works closely with the administrative and Clinic team to ensure the smooth running of the centre.   With a background in Business and Finance, Helen spent 14 years working in Finance in the City of London gaining valuable knowledge of running small to medium sized companies. More recently she branched out into project management,  working for a variety of companies including a health and fitness celebrity.
Her interests are horse riding, spending time with her family, friends and pets. Taking long walks on the beach and as a recently diagnosed Coeliac, discovering and cooking delicious gluten free foods.

Lindsay Adams

Assistant to Dr. Sally Moorcroft
Lindsay is a key member of the team taking care of our clients from the moment they walk into the centre until the moment they leave. She has an extensive knowledge of medical administration having worked in the NHS for many years and brings a valuable perspective on the day to day running of the centre. Her interests are health, keeping fit through exercise classes and running/walking. She loves spending her weekends with family and friends in between renovating her house.

Louise Hallam

Receptionist Administrator
Louise has gained a weath of experience as a receptionist firstly in the golf industry working for PING UK, then broadening her horizons and working as a receptionist in a golf agency in the sunny Algarve. She has also worked in a number of years more recently as a medical receptionist in the NHS.  Her interests are swimming, reading and walking whenever she can with her husband and dog Charlie.

Lorraine Howard

Receptionist Administrator
Lorraine joins us from working in a busy NHS GP surgery where she worked on reception and in the dispensary, she has a good working knowledge of working within a medical environment.  Lorraine enjoys travelling and spending time with her family.  

Wendy Musson

Receptionist Administrator
Wendy joined us from St Hughs Hospital where she worked on the main reception and with outpatients, so has a wealth of experience of the Medical sector. She has a keen interest in Health and enjoys Bodypump, Pilates and Yoga at the local Humberstone Country Club where she is a member, her and her sons are also members of The Grimsby Harriers Athletics Club.  When she was younger she represented Humberside for athletics and was County Champion in both track and field events. In her spare time she enjoys walking her dog and spending time with her family.

Emily Collinson

Social Media, Marketing & Retail Assistant
Emily's main role is to support Helen with promoting the centre via social media.  She also manages the Orchard Barn online shop, and helps to create and design marketing literature and material. Emily has a great understanding of make up and the latest make up fashion, she has recently won a nationwide Dr. Hauschka make up competition and offers mini make up consultations within our shop. Emily's interests are health, makeup, fashion, movies and spending time with her family.

Mia Bojen-Taylor

Reception & Event Assistant
Mia is currently studying her A-levels and will be going to university to study languages, she works at Orchard Barn on Saturday reception along with evening and weekend events.  She has a keen interest in health & wellbeing.
