Nourishing Winter Retreat Day
Saturday December 2, 2017 10am - 4pm
10am – 11am
The day starts with a mindful meditation session with Caroline, leave behind the stress and strain of the busy season and let Caroline guide you in this meditative practice, Caroline is a qualified Kundalini Yoga Teacher.
11.15am – 12.15pm
11.15am Dr Sally will outline how to stay healthy during the winter months which will be presented by Alison Leighton our Nutritional Advisor, Alison will then go on to discuss healthy and nourishing foods for the season.
12.30pm – 1pm
12.30pm Winter Skin Care tips with our Orchard Barn Therapists, don’t forget to Nourish your skin as well. We will outline how to protect your skin against the elements and keep it hydrated with advice on the best for your skin type and a wide range of natural products to try out
1pm – 2pm
2pm – 4pm
The day concludes with a deeply relaxing yoga nidra and restorative yoga practice with Carmen. Carmen will guide you through a carefully constructed series of restorative yoga postures designed to create specific physiological responses in the body that are beneficial to your health and well being. The workshop will incorporate breathing practices and yoga nidra for deep relaxation to further help your body release tension and restore your mind, leaving you with a deep and profound sense of wellbeing. If your just wanting some peace and quiet, or maybe recovering from injury or illness, this gentle nourishing workshop will be just the tonic for you.
